What is RADI – RAHI?

At Nam Uc Scotch AGS, we believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, skills, and passing exams. Education is also about developing character – the roots of who we are and how we act. That is why we have an explicit framework for character education that guides our curriculum and pedagogy. Our framework is based on two sets of skills: RADI for oneself and RAHI for interacting with others. These skills are not only taught in the classroom but also practised in the school community and beyond.

RAHI

Respect

Students practise respectful behaviours through small actions such as genuine greetings, active listening and sharing, creating a positive and respectful environment.

Appreciation

Students express gratitude through participation in community-helping activities, showing appreciation to teachers, and assisting their peers in their studies.

Helpfulness

Students maximise their potential and contribute to building a friendly and supportive student community.

Integrity

Students practise and demonstrate honesty in various aspects of life, including compliance with examination, regulations, treating others sincerely, and voicing their opinion with courage.
